Welcome to Thuto! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Thuto mobile applications, website, and associated services operated by Thuto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a company based in Sri Lanka ("we", "our", or "us"). By accessing or using Thuto, you agree to these Terms.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Thuto apps or website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), and that you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
Thuto is a multi-vendor platform that allows users to:
Order food, groceries, and parcels from multiple vendors.
Schedule parcel pickups and deliveries.
Use secure payment options including Visa, bank cards, and Cash on Delivery (COD).
Track orders in real time.
Customer: Places orders and schedules deliveries.
Vendor: Offers goods and services through the platform.
Rider/Delivery Partner: Delivers goods or parcels to customers.
Admin: Manages the entire platform and user operations.
Each role requires registration and verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account. You are solely responsible for all activities under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
All prices are listed in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR).
Payment methods include Visa, credit/debit cards, PayPal, and Cash on Delivery.
Thuto may charge service or delivery fees, which will be clearly displayed during checkout.
For high-value parcels, optional insurance charges may apply.
Orders can be canceled within a specified time depending on the vendor's policy.
Refunds for canceled or failed deliveries will be processed based on our Refund Policy, available separately.
Thuto reserves the right to issue or deny refunds at its discretion based on transaction records and circumstances.
Vendors must ensure item availability, quality, and timely preparation.
Riders are expected to deliver in a timely and respectful manner.
Any misconduct or repeated complaints may lead to suspension or termination from the platform.
Parcel pickup must be scheduled with accurate details.
Dangerous or illegal items are strictly prohibited.
For high-value items, insurance is optional but recommended.
COD parcels are only allowed for items with clearly declared values.
You agree not to:
Use Thuto for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
Impersonate another person or gain unauthorized access.
Interfere with or disrupt platform operations.
Collect user data without permission.
All content, logos, and trademarks on Thuto are the intellectual property of Thuto Lanka (Pvt) Ltd or licensed parties. You may not copy, reuse, or distribute any content without written permission.
Your use of the Thuto platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
Thuto is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for:
Damages arising from service delays or failures.
Actions of vendors, riders, or other users.
Loss of data or unauthorized access to accounts.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to any user account for violations of these Terms or illegal activities.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Thuto after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage users to review them periodically.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration or courts located within Sri Lanka.
